Some Tennessee parents are furious as their schools are segregating students who choose not to wear a mask. The superintendent of Williamson County Schools recently confirmed students who don’t wear masks or don’t have an approved religious or medical exemption will be moved to separate classrooms.

As of now, less than 10 students in the district are being held in these rooms where they have access to virtual learning and some parents are not happy about this separation.

"And yes I’m angry because these are the most precious things in my life and what you are doing to them is evil and wrong,” Some parents are not happy about a policy in Williamson Co Schools that puts students in school suspension if they don't wear a mask or have a release form. pic.twitter.com/FotlCGLshq

Meanwhile, all students, visitors and staff are required to wear masks at Williamson County Schools. Additionally, they will not allowed to opt out of the federal mandate.
